Sie betrieb die 129 Meilen lange Strecke von San Marcial nach Deming in New Mexico, ferner die überaus wichtige 20 Meilen lange Anschlußbahn von Rincon, N.M. an das Netz der Texas State Line. Durch die neue Bahnverbindung von Kansas City über den Ranton-Pass nach Santa Fè verlor der ab 1822 besonders durch William Becknell berühmt gewordene “Santa Fé Trail”, die alte mit Zugtieren betriebene Handelsstraße, fast völlig seine Bedeutung. 1881 wurde durch die Verbindung mit der Southern Pacific Railway in Deming, N.M. der Zugang zur Pazifikküste hergestellt. | | Specials: | Als Präsident original unterschrieben von WILLIAM B.
