Seit 1886 auch Produktion von Fahrrädern, weshalb 1892 die Strickmaschinen-Produktion gänzlich aufgegeben wurde. 1901 begann NSU als erste Fabrik in Deutschland mit der Herstellung der bis dahin noch gänzlich unbekannten Motorräder, seit 1906 auch Automobil-Herstellung. 1926 Übernahme der "Schebera AG Automobilwerk" in Berlin-Charlottenburg und Umfirmierung in "NSU Vereinigte Fahrzeugwerke AG". 1928 Interessengemeinschaft mit der FIAT S.A. in Turin, die das Werk Heilbronn übernahm und in eine eigene AG unter der Firma "NSU Automobil-AG" umwandelte. 1936 Übernahme der Fahrradproduktion der Adam Opel AG und Aufgabe des Automobilbaues. Umfirmiert1938 in "NSU Werke AG" und 1961 in “NSU Motorenwerke AG”. Bekannteste Autos der Nachkriegszeit waren der NSU-Prinz und der revolutionäre RO 80 mit Wankelmotor. 1969 Verschmelzung mit der Auto-Union GmbH zur Audi NSU Auto Union AG. | | Availability: | Stück ohne Lochentwertung. | | Condition: | EF. | | Sold: | 120,00 EUR |
