IM 1940er AG-Handbuch steht: “Das Vermögen der (jüdischen) Firma wird auf Grund der Verordnung vom 23.11.1938 abgewickelt.” Die Familie Ury wanderte daraufhin nach Lafayette in die USA aus. Nach 1945 - welche Ironie des Schicksals - verlor sie dann ihren Leipziger Besitz durch die Enteignungsmaßnahmen der DDR endgültig. Ihr blieb das Warenhausgrundstück in Berlin 65, Swinemünderstr. 86/87, hinzuerworben wurde ein Kaufhaus im bayerischen Hof. Der AG-Sitz wurde 1958 von Leipzig nach Wiesbaden verlegt. 1972/73 aus den AG-Handbüchern verschwunden. | | Availability: | Äußerst selten. | | Condition: | Mit kpl. Kuponbogen.
