Durch den Gründerkrach wurde die Gesellschaft schwer in Mitleidenschaft gezogen: 1881 wurden zwei alte Aktien zu 600 M in eine neue Aktie zu 300 M zusammengelegt. Hergestellt wurden Dampfmaschinen, Pumpmaschinen für Wasserwerke und Kanalisation, Asphaltaufbereitungsmaschinen, bewegliche Brücken, Motorpflüge und Kältemaschinen. Ende 1922 wurde noch eine Stahlgießerei in Betrieb genommen. Während der Inflationszeit brach der Absatz der Gesellschaft derart ein, daß 1927 die Produktion eingestellt werden mußte.
