Es bestanden die Pferdebahn-Linien: Bockenheimer Warte-Zoologischer Garten; Westbahnhöfe-Hauptwache; Arnsbergerstraße-Bernheim-Friedberger Anlage; Schönhof-Bockenheimer Warte. 1899 übernahm die städtische Straßen- und Waldbahn den Betrieb. Zur Aufbringung des an die belgische Gesellschaft zu zahlenden Kaufpreises legte die Stadt Frankfurt Ende des 19.
