Starting price: 75,00 EUR Issuing- date: 01.01.1929 Issuing- place: Düsseldorf Picture: Number: 3983 Info: Gründung 1875 zum Fortbetrieb der seit 1823 bestehenden "Brauerei-Gesellschaft Schwabenbräu Kels & Wiedemeyer" (die in der Münster Straße gelegene Brauerei existierte schon seit 1755). Übernommen wurden ferner die Alemannia-Brauerei in Rheydt und die Gambrinus-Brauerei in Moers (1905), die Adler-Brauerei in Düsseldorf (1918), die Brauerei Tivoli in Krefeld (1921) sowie die bis heute für ihr Altbier weit bekannte Brauerei Schlösser GmbH in Düsseldorf (1929). Ferner besaß die AG das Hotel “Fürstenhof” am Kölner Dom. Bis 1944 in Berlin, ab 1948 in Düsseldorf börsennotiert. 1967 Eingliederung in den DUB-Konzern (heute Brau und Brunnen AG).
