In zwei Werken in Dresden (Leipziger Str. 7/13 und Trachau) sowie bei der Tochterfirma Gehe-Werke AG in Aussig a.E. wurden chem. Produkte (Jod-, Wismut- und Silberpräparate) sowie pharmazeutische Spezialpräparate hergestellt. 1921 Übernahme der Großhandlung und pharmazeutischen Fabrik C. H. Burk in Stuttgart, die als Zweigwerk fortgeführt wurde. 1945-48 wurden die Werke in Sachsen enteignet, 1948 Sitzverlegung nach München. In den Folgejahren unzählige Übernahmen kleinerer Wettbewerber, 1980 Sitzverlegung nach Stuttgart. Umbenannt 1981 in GEHE AG und 2003 in Celesio AG.
