Infolge der Kreditnot war an eine Bauausführung nicht zu denken, deshalb nahmen die Großaktionäre, die Stadt Eberbach und die Hessische Eisenbahn-AG, die Aktien (Wert einer 10.000 M-Aktien = 50 Pf) wieder herein.
