Picture: Number: 498 Info: Gegründet 1882 zum Bau der 52 Meilen langen Bahn Columbiana-Barnett, Ill., die bereits im Jahr darauf eröffnet wurde. 1892 unter sonst gleichem Namen als „Railway“ reorganisiert, in der Konkursversteigerung 1899 von der Chicago & Alton Railroad erworben worden. Die fusionierte 1906 mit der Chicago & Alton Railway. 1931 erst von der Baltimore & Ohio gekauft worden, ab 1942 pleite, aber wieder selbständig, 1947 in die Gulf, Mobile & Ohio RR fusioniert.
