(235 Meilen). 1876 in Ohio Central Railway umbenannt, 1877 in Konkurs. Nach Verkauf an zwei Interessentengruppen 1878 Aufspaltung in die Columbus & Sunday Creek Valley RR und die Ohio Central Railroad, letztere sog bereits 1879 die zweite Gesellschaft wieder auf. Eine 1881 beschlossene Fusion mit der Richmond & Allegheny RR und der Atlantic & Northwestern RR zur Richmond, Allegheny & Ohio Central RR wurde 1882 vom Parlament von Virginia für ungültig erklärt. Daraufhin Fusion mit der Atlantic & Northwestern unter Beibehaltung des Namens Ohio Central RR. 1883/84 erneut in Konkurs und in zwei Teile gespalten (die 172 Meilen lange Hauptstrecke Toledo - Corning, O. und die 24 Meilen lange Columbia Branch nach Alum Creek). 1885 als Toledo & Ohio Central Ry. reorganisiert, eine der wichtigsten Bahnen im New-York-Central-System. | | Specials: | Schöner königsblau/schwarzer Stahlstich, Vignette mit Getreidegarbe, Speerbündel und hinter den Bergen aufgehender Sonne. | | Availability: | Unentwertet.
