Weltkriegs verlorenen Pflanzungen wurden 1924 auf einer Versteigerung in London zurückerworben, wurden aber bei Kriegsausbruch 1939 von den Engländern erneut beschlagnahmt und gingen dann endgültig verloren. Seinerzeit im Hamburg börsennotiert, letzter Großaktionär war mit 73 % die Deutsche Togogesellschaft.
