Cesar Godeffroy & Sohn zur Übernahme eines Teils ihrer ausgedehnten Geschäfte in der Südsee, Sitz in der Spitalerstr. 11 (Barkhof). Im AR saßen bekannte Namen der Hamburger Kaufmannschaft (neben Godeffroy auch Baron von Merck, Baron von Schroeder usw.). Die Hauptfiliale war in Papeete auf der Insel Tahiti. Im 1. Weltkrieg kamen die Geschäfte zum Erliegen, der südseeische Besitz wurde von der französischen Regierung später aufgrund des Versailler Vertrages enteignet. Durch eine Kapitalerhöhung Mitte der 20er Jahre zugeflossene Mittel wurden dann zum Ausbau von Handelsgeschäften in Südostasien verwendet. Börsennotiz im Freiverkehr Hamburg.
