Erstes Modell war der 5/15 PS, ein Kleinwagen mit Steudel-Einbaumotor, der 65 km/h Höchstgeschwindigkeit erreichte. 1924 präsentierte Hildebrand drei Fahrzeuge auf der Berliner Automobilausstellung. Regelmäßig nahmen Hildebrand-Fahrzeuge auch an Bergprüfungen und Zuverlässigkeitsfahrten des ADAC teil und belegten vordere Plätze. Dann machte ein schwerer Unfall Martin Hildebrand fast ein Jahr lang arbeitsunfähig, der zweite Vorstand Ott plünderte in der Zeit die Firmenkasse, schon 1924/25 folgte der Konkurs. Die Zahl der bei Hildebrand gebauten PKW schwankt je nach Quelle zwischen 100 und 450; noch 1949 meldete sich ein Mr. Washburn aus den USA und fragte nach Ersatzteilen für den von ihm immer noch gefahrenen Hildebrand. | | Availability: | Mit Kupons.
