Zur Zeche Deutschland gehörten die Schächte Ulenberg, Beust, Harkort und Rudolph (letztere beiden bereits 1893 bzw. 1897 zum Erliegen gekommen). Die Kuxe notierten an der Börse Düsseldorf. 1912 kaufte die Gewerkschaft ver. Constantin der Große (Krupp-Konzern) die Gewerkschaft Deutschland und legte das Bergwerk dann 1925 wegen Unwirtschaftlichkeit still. Doch das war nicht das Ende: Constantin der Große verpachtete das ehemalige Grubenfeld der Zeche Deutschland 1951 an die Papierfabrik Scheufelen KG, Oberlenningen (Württ.), die darauf in Hiddinghausen die Zeche Ulrich eröffnete, ein kleines Bergwerk, wo 142 Mann aus zwei tonnlägigen Schächten rd. 45.000 t Kohle im Jahr förderten. | | Availability: | Abheftlochung.
