Das bis in unsere Tage bedeutende Textilunternehmen besaß ein eigenes Wasserkraftwerk sowie im Zweigwerk Mainleus ein mit tschechischer Braunkohle befeuertes Dampfkraftwerk und ein Kunststoffwerk. Ende der 80er Jahre übernahm der Frankfurter Unternehmer Wisser die Aktienmehrheit und gliederte die KSP in den Pfersee-Kolbermoor-Konzern ein. 1990 wurde das operative Geschäft ausgegliedert und das große mehrstöckige Spinnereigebäude direkt am Kulmbacher Bahnhof in ein Geschäfts- und Einkaufszentrum umgestaltet. | | Availability: | Muster-perforiert.
