Die Fabrik in der Seestraße 26 war vor allem mit Künstler- und Spezialpinseln gut im Geschäft, über 60 % wurden exportiert. 1955 wurde mit den Malerwalzen “Komet-CARACUL” ein weiterer Umsatzrenner ins Sortiment genommen. Rd. 150 Mitarbeiter erwirtschafteten knapp 10 Mio. DM Jahresumsatz, in der Nachkriegszeit zahlte die nicht börsennotierte Familien-AG (mit allerdings auch 16 % Streubesitz-Aktionären) regelmäßig zweistellige Dividenden. 1979 in eine GmbH umgewandelt.
