Die Aktien beinhalteten Elemente, die sonst eher aus Sparplänen oder Bausparverträgen bekannt sind: Beim „Pre-Paid“ Capital Stock wurden sofort 50 $ eingezahlt, bei „Maturity“ sollten daraus aus einbehaltenen Gewinnen 100 $ werden. Beim „Instalment Stock“ wurden besagte 50 $ nicht in einer Summe, sondern in 84 Monatsraten á 60 cent eingezahlt. Angesichts der unentwerteten und besonders eindrucksvoll gestalteten Aktien und der Spruchbänder in der Umrandung „Secured by Real Estate Mortgages, deposited with the Treasurer of the State of Minnesota“ und „Under the Supervision of the Public Examiner“ könnte einen der Verdacht beschleichen, daß diese für die Zeit vollkommen ungewöhnliche Art der Vermögensbildung bei Kleinsparern ein Schwindelunternehmen war, doch weit gefehlt: Das Institut war durch und durch seriös, überstand sogar die Weltwirtschaftskrise und ging nach über einem Jahrhundert erst 1988 in der First Financial Savings Association auf (seit 1998/2001 Teil der Associated Bank N.A., Wisconsin). | | Specials: | Sehr großformatig, interessante Vignette mit Symbolisierung des Spargedankens: Links das Treasury-Gebäude in Minneapolis, mittig Adler mit gespreizten Schwingen und fünf Jungen im Nest, rechts häusliche Szene mit Ehepaar und Hund am Kaminfeuer, Umschrift „Small Savings assures a Home“.
