Starting price: 75,00 EUR Issuing- date: 01.07.1870 Issuing- place: Boston Picture: Number: 1291 Info: Bereits in den 1830er Jahren gegründete Bahn. Strecke Taunton-Mansfield, Mass. (11 Meilen), Erweiterung 1871 Junction-Attleboro, Mass. (9 Meilen). 1874 wurden die New Bedford RR und die Taunton Branch RR zusammengeschlossen zur New Bedford RR. Die Bahn wurde verpachtet an die Boston, Clinton & Fitchburg RR und 1876 fusionierten die beiden Bahnen zur Boston, Clinton, Fitchburg & New Bedford RR. Diese wiederum war an die Old Colony RR verpachtet, deren gesamtes 617 Meilen umfassendes Streckennetz dann 1893 an die New York, New Haven & Hartford RR verpachtet wurde (die damit faktisch ein Frachtmonopol in den südlichen Neu-England-Staaten erlangte).
