Diese Bahn mit der 120 Meilen langen Hauptstrecke Lunenburg-Maquam Bay, Vt. war 1877 fertiggestellt worden. Noch 1880 an die Maie Central verpachtet worden. Trotz Verkauf 1885 an die Boston & Lowell RR (selbst 1895 von der Boston & Maine übernommen worden) blieb der Pachtvertrag mit Unterbrechungen bis 1927 erhalten und ging dann auf die Canadian Pacific über. 1944 in Konkurs gegangen, aber anschließend mit starkem Engagement des Bundesstaates Vermont bis in die 1990er Jahre am Leben erhalten, ehe starke Unwetter das Ende der Strecke endgültig besiegelten. | | Specials: | Herrliche Vignette mit aus dem Bahnhof fahrendem Zug, Schiffe an der Pier. | | Availability: | Unentwertet.
