Der Besitz war Teil des Eigentums des Woods Investment Co. Syndicates. In 1900 wurde der Wert aller Woods-Gesellschaften zusammen auf fast 45 Mio. $ geschätzt. Erst als die Stadt Victor fast völlig abbrannte, begann der Niedergang dieses Imperiums. Der notwendige Cash-Flow blieb aus, siesige Wiederaufbausummen wurden hingegen in die Stadt investiert. Langsam sank der gute Ruf der Woods und Arbeiter sikierten einen ersten Streik. Dieses verursachte die nächste Krise. 1907 schließlich packten Warren und Harry Woods ihre Sachen und zogen um nach Santa Anna, Californien. | | Specials: | Originalunterschrift F.M.
