place: | Oelsnitz i. Erzgeb. | | Picture: |  | | Info: | Gründung 1871. Am 19.10.1871 erfolgte der erste Spatenstich zum Wilhelm-Schacht, der später in Vereinsglück-Schacht umbenannt wurde. Das Abteufen mit einer Belegschaft von 288 bis 341 Mann bereitete keine Probleme, jedoch waren die Übertageanlagen sehr kostenaufwändig und teilweise unbrauchbar. 1875 wurde das Steinkohlengebirge in einer Teufe von 548 m erreicht. Schacht I und II wurden durchschlägig gemacht. 1877 Inbetriebnahme der Kohlenwäsche. 1878 erfolgte mit einer Zechenbahn der Anschluss an die Eisenbahnstrecke Stollberg - St. Aegidien. 1894 musste die Förderung auf Schacht II wegen eines Schachtbruchs eingestellt werden. Die Wiederaufwältigung erfolgte 1895/96. 1905 wurde das Abteufen des Schachts III wegen Geldmangels eingestellt. 1906 erschütterte ein Grubenbrand das Bergwerk. Im gleichen Jahr nahm die Gesellschaft das Angebot der Gewerkschaft Deutschland zur Übernahme an. Die AG trat in Liquidation. Bis zur Übernahme waren 1,9 Mio. t Steinkohle gefördert worden. Unter der neuen Leitung entwickelte sich das Bergwerk günstiger. 1949 wurde der Name in "Albert Funk Schacht" geändert.
