Die schmalspurige Nebenbahn (1.000-mm-Spur) führte von Brohl am Rhein hinauf in die Eifel über Niederzissen und Weibern bis nach Kempenich. Die 23,8 km lange Bahn überwand dabei einen Höhenunterschied von fast 400 m, beim Bahnhof Engeln sogar im Zahnstangenbetrieb. Alleiniger Aktionär war die Westdeutsche Eisenbahn-Ges. in Köln. Als weit über die Grenzen der Region bekannte Museumsbahn noch heute in Betrieb, sogar an der Autobahn stehen große Hinweisschilder auf die Brohlthal-Bahn. | | Specials: | Schöne Umrandung im Historismusstil. Das Kapital betrug ursprünglich 3,4 Mio. M in 3.400 Aktien und wurde 1898 um 300 Aktien aufgestockt.
