Mit der Commerz- und Privatbank AG wurde 1923 ein Interessenvertrag geschlossen und den Aktionären der Umtausch ihrer Aktien 3:1 in Commerzbank-Aktien angeboten, wodurch diese in den Besitz der Mehrheit gelangte.
