Die Gesellschaft bediente die Fall River Line, die als Anschluß für die Eisenbahnstrecke von Fall River nach Boston diente. Fünf Dampfer waren im Betrieb: Bay State, Empire State, Metropolis, Newport, Old Colony. Ende 1869 verkaufte die Gesellschaft alle ihre Schiffe an die Narragansett Steamship Co., die ihrerseits 1874 durch die Old Colony Steam Boat Co. geschluckt wurde. Die Fall River Linie mit den Dampfschiffen wurde 1894 von der New Haven & Hartford RR Co. übernommen, dann 1906 an die New England Navigation Co. weiter verkauft und 1937 eingestellt. | | Specials: | Herrliche Vignette mit dem Raddampfer “Metropolis”, als Lithographie ausgeführt. | | Availability: | Sehr selten. | | Condition: | EF-VF. | | Sold: | unsold |
