Von der alten Missionsstation aus konnten die Fahrgäste dann mit Dampfern über den See nach Coeur d’Alene City übersetzen, wo Anschluß an die Spokane Falls & Idaho Branch der Northern Pacific bestand. 1889 wurde außerdem noch eine 7 Meilen lange Stichbahn zur Erzaufbereitungsanlage bei Hunter in Betrieb genommen.
